Out of the 450 entries that made into the Indian Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), this year, 14 of the fims have been selected for the competition section. This includes 8 films from Malayalam and 6 films from Indian Cinema sections.
The movies include Mohalal’s Paradesi, Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s Naalu Pennungal, Shaji N. Karun’s AKG and Lenin Rajendran’s Rathri Mazha.
The 12th IFFK will be held on 7th December to 14th December. The best film in the Malayalam section would be awarded from the FIPRESCI, The International Federation of Film Critics and another award from NEPTAC, for promotion of Asian Cinema.
