Aamir Khan, is one of the most talented actors of the Bollywood Industry. He is very much well-known, for not only his acting but also, for his, strong belief in himself, and in no one else. He is also well known for not attending any sort of Award Function, whether its in India, or the International cities. But it was the 14th Nokia Screen Awards for, honoring the talents of the year 2007. The Award ceremony had 17 nominations for the evening, in various categories.
But the public were able to see the actor Aamir Khan, but virtually. The organizers had created a huge and tall cut-out, of the actor Aamir, that was a still from the movie, Taare Zameen Par. They had also made up clear that the name of the actor took place, at regular intervals, so that the people don’t feel the absense of Aamir. The host Sajid also made a dig of the actor Aamir, at the end of the show.
Finally, when the Best Director Award, was announced, the most deserving persons were honored with the awards. The award was shared by the two truly, deserving Aamir Khan for Taare Zameen Par and Shimit Amin for Chak De India. The show, would be published on the television, on 27th January, 2008, (Sunday) at 19.30 hrs.
