Actor Poornam Viswanathan one of the veteran Character artists in South Indian Cinema passes away at Chennai on Wednesday being under illness. Actor Poornam Viswanathan was a Tamil News Reader in All India Radio and the one who announced India’s freedom in his news bulletin in the year 1947 but later he turned himself as good character artists. Some of his performance in the films such as “Mahanadi”, “Aasai”, “Keladi Kanmani” are still unforgettable.
He was the one who manages both comedy and other characters with ease. According to the sources from hospital that actor died due to multiple organ failure at 87yrs Old. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
