With regard to the one day hunger strike, rendered by the Tamil Film Industry, against the Hognekkal Dam, Issue which, ended with the ban of Tamil Film, in the Kannada theatres, the Tamil Nadigar Sangam had sent in the invitation to all the celebrities of the Tamil Film Industry to take part in this strike. But even then some of the celebrities were absent. So the Nadigar Sangam Head, actor Sarath Kumar, had asked for an explanation for their absence.
Many of the absentees had sent in their reply, but to Asin. Asin is one of the actress who his very much busy with the Bollywood Film, Ghajini, along with Aamir Khan. The latest news of the evening is that the actress has send in an explanation after a along time. She has mentioned in her explanation that, she had to participate for a function in Mumbai where she is the brand ambassador. Hence she regrets that she could not participate in the hunger strike. In future, she would definitely participate in all programs organized by the Tamil film field and Nadigar Sangam.
