You might be thinking who is this unnown person GP Sippy. But to the truth, without this man’s production Sholay, we would have seen one of the most fantastic movies, in history, or we would not have heard the beautiful dialogues, like, Kitne Admi the… and so on.
Ye we are talking about the legend GP Sippy, the producer of the movie Sholay and many other hit movie too. We are very sorry to say, that, the great man passed away Tuesday evening. He was 94. He was found to be ill for the past 9 months.
In the 40-year film career, he has produced many hit and landmark movies like, Sholay, Seeta aur Geeta, Bhramachari, Shaan, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Sagar. Though he started producing in 1951 with Sazaa, his career got a heightened when his son Ramesh Sippy made Sholay in 1975 which turned out to be the biggest hit in his and his son’s career.
At this moment we would like to provide our hearty condolences, to the entire family and well-wishers of GP Sippy. We hope that, his soul rests in piece.
