Holly Lets Go to Strike!
The television and the movie screen writers have announced for going on a strike. This would be for the first time after 20 years that the Hollywood writers would be going on a strike.

Four of the writers from Hollywood Industry said that Writers Guild of America President Patric Verrone made the announcement that in a closed-door session yesterday, that drew loud cheers from the crowd.

When our correspondent Uncle Sam, got with one of the writers Dave Garrett, he said that there was a unified feeling in the room and no one was happy with the decision about going on a strike, but the people were behind the negotiation committee.

Nick Counter who is the President of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, said that the alliance was not surprised by this action.

He added that  they were ready to meet and are prepared to close the contract by this weekend. Officials had called a meeting of the Union`s 12,000 members for last night.

Guild members recently authorized their negotiators to call the first strike since 1988, if necessary.
