Its all known that the Uzhaga Nayagan, Kamal Hasan, is one actor who is always has his hand, wide spread, for social causes. This time he has opened his hands, for the purpose of serving the heart-diseased children. With regard to this he has accepted to be the brand ambassador, of the of the scheme launched by World Malayalee Council (WMC) for saving 100 downtrodden children having cardio disorder.
A musical programme, named Hrudhaya Ragam - 2008, would be conducted on February 24th, which would feature almost all the singers from the Kollywood and the Malluwood. It is also to benoted that, Kamal would be attending the function. The musical programe would be inaugurated by the Issai Gnani, Illayaraja.
When our correspondent Mangalam Sir, got with Kamal, he said very emotionally that, he feels proud to be a part of a scheme that seeks to save the poor children’s lives. He sincerely considers all these children as his own children.
When asked about the mega-release of the Dasavatharam, he said that the movie would hit the screens in April and the music would be launched in March. He added, praising the music director Himmesh Reshammiya, that, though Himmesh being a North Indian, he has understood the music of South India, and has done a fantastic job.
Malayala Manorama, which als one of the media partners of the scheme has made a donation of Rs. 25 lakhs for the cause. This has prompted the organizers to modify their scheme which was titled as 100 lakhs of rupees can save 100 infants lives. Now WMC has decided to give free treatment to 125 children.
