
It was one of the most charming and the most delightful nights ever in the Bollywood Industry, for it was the 53rd Filmfare Awards. Filmfare Awards honors the talents of the Bollywood Industry, who have been able to bring the happiness in the face of the people. With sevaral categories that include, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Directot, Best New Comer, Best Music, Best Films, and so on. With the 2007, being one of the most memorable years of the Bollywood Industry, with a plenty of amazing blockbuster cinemas, it was time time to honor the best.
Lest start from the top. The 2007 Best Actor is none other than, Shahrukh Khan for his film, Chak De India. The Best Actress was given to Kareena Kapoor, for Jab We Met. The Best Film of the year 2007 was gained by none other than Aamir Khan’s first directorial film, Taare Zameen Par. The Best Music Director Award was AR Rehman for Guru. Aamir Khan won the award for the Best Director. Along with the Best Film, Chak De alos won the Best Cinemtegrophy Award.
In the Critics Awards series, Tabu won the Best Actress Award for the movie, Cheeni Kam. Child Artiste Darsheel Safari won the Best Actor Award for Taare Zameen Par. Rishi Kapoor was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. Deepika Padukone won the best fresh face of the year. Ranbir Kapoor won the Best debutant award for the year.
Irrfan Khan won the best actor in a Supporting Role, for the film Life in a Metro, and for the same film the Best Actress in a Supporting role was given to Konkanna Sen. Shaan won the Best Singer Award for the song, Jab Se Tere Nania from Saawariya, and Shrey Ghoshal won the Best Female Singer for the song Barso Re, from Guru. Prasoon Joshi won the Best Lyricist Award for the song, Ma..Oh Meri Ma, from Taare Zameen Par.
Amol Gupte won the Best Story Award for the film taare Zameen Par. Anurag Basu won the Best screenplay for the film Life In a Metro, and Imtiaz Ali was awarded the Best Dialogues for the film, Jab We Met.
