The movie is been directed by Dharani and produced by Udayanidhi Stalin. The latest news about this movie, is that the film has ben fetched with the highest record business for its distribution rights in the state of Kerala. The distribution rights of the movie have been obtained by Mahi, a leading hair dresser, for a whooping amount of rs. 1.5 crores. Kuruivi is all set to hit the screens by the May.
May being the summer vacations and many people coming into the Tamil Nadu, it is the best time and place for the movie to hit the theatres. Its everytime seen that, the Tamil films always have a rocking stage in the state of Kerala. With regard to the clashes, between the Tamil and the Malayalam films, it had been decided, that the Tamil movie would hit the theatres of Kerala, only after the two weeks after its official release in Tamil Nadu.
