The brand release of the songs of the movie, Kuruvi was conducted at the Little Flowers Convent, Chennai. The successful team of the movie Gilli, Vijay, Trisha, Vidyasagar and Dharani have joined together, for this movie and is sure to be successful once again. It had already stated by the actor Vijay, that Kuruvi, is two times bigger than Gilli. The movie is completely a romance-action entertainer. Seems that within just a couple of days from the movie being released, Kuruvi has faced its first obstacle. There is a song in the movie with the lines, Mozhamozhannu. The song has been sung by Kay Kay and Anuradha Sriram. The lyricist of the song, is P. Vijay.
The song is a typical folk song. As expected the song is in a punchy style with the Vijay’s signature style of song. Now the problem is all struck in lines of the song, that reads, Thilaiyadi Valliyamayi. This has brought in the attention of many police officers. Thilaiyadi Valliyamayi is the name of a freedom fighter, which has caught the police officer’s attention. The lyricist of the song, P. Vijay has apologised, for hurting any sentiments. He said that, they were not aware of any facts and the name rhymed with the tune of the song, it was incorporated in the song. The makers have assured the public that the name ‘Thilaiyadi Valliyamayi’ would be removed henceforth.
