Karva Chauth is a celebrations meant for the ladies in our country, in particular the northern side. This celebration is meant for the married ladies, who pray for the long life of their husbands. They undergo a fast for the whole day. This year’s Karva Chauth would be a special one for the Bachchan’s family. Its their Bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s first Karva Chauth.
A lot of preparations had been gone down during the Karva Chauth function, especially in regard to their Bahu’s First Karva Chauth. Prior to the celebration day, Sasuji Mrs. Jaya Bachchan and Bahu Ash had arranged for a tea party especially for the ladies. The high society ladies and friends were called upon. Specially Mehendi aplying ladies were called upon for applying new Karva Chauth Special Mehendi. Though this party was strictly prohibited for the MEN, the Small B and the Big B couldn’t resist themselves from being far away from their wives, and they too entered into the party.
The ladies were found exchanging dry-fruits and mithais, which is a custom called Sargi, that is done on the morning prior to the fasting. Once again the Bachchan house was lit up with lights, after a day long fast. All the ladies and friends were found in the terrace anxiously awaiting for the moon to appear. All ladies were found in their traditional wardrobe and beautiful jewelleries.
