During the filming of a movie, choreographer Pawanraj luckily escaped from drowning. The shooting was taking place in Nagercoil.
Kanna Nee Yenakku Thaanda, is the movie for which Pawanraj is choreographing at Nagercoil. Pawanraj was standing on a rock, giving some instructions to the two new comers Uday and Payal, when a huge tidal wave knocked him off the rock and plunged him into the sea. The entire unit of the film fled away from the spot thinking of a tsunami.
The director of the film Oli Maran with the help of some local fisherman searched for the choreographer and after 10 minutes of continued intensive searching finally found him and rescued. Later he was admitted in the local hospital for treatment.
