After that she was opted as one of the three heroines of the Arjun starrer movie Durai.
The movie, had already started shooting, with the stunt scenes of Arjun at the AVM Studio, in which the steam driven machines are being used . Arjun plays the role of a hotel server. Now when Padmapriya was callen on for shoot, she demanded, a amount in lakhs, for wardrobe, and when the director refused about this, she said that she won’t take part in the film. Then the director of the film Venkatesh announced that Padmapriya is not a part of the film, and whe would be replaced by an a another actress.
