Then he also played a couple of comic roles in the move, Mumbai Express and Maja. Both of the film brough him into the lime-light. Then his one of the most pivotal roles in the movie, Virumandi, along with Universal Star, Kamal Hassan, made him one of the most wanted actors in the industry. He was opted to play the lead role in the movie, Veyil. He played the role of a man defeated in life with such elan.
The role played by him in Veyil was very much appreciated by all, and now he is having a bunch of movies in hand, in which his role is the most pre-dominent one. He plays a dminent role in the upcoming project along with Cheran, in the movie, Raman Thediya Seethai. He has been vested with the most golden opportunity to play the lead role in the movie, Kuselan, along side would be none other than the SuperStar himself, Rajini Kanth. He also plays the lead role in the movie, Vedigundu Murugesan, opposite Jyothirmayi.
