Prime Minister of India, Mr. manmohan Singh yesterday (Wednesday) evening had a meeting at residence of Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Forrmer PM, India, BJP), with regard to his severe ill-health for the past few days, which has kept him absent to be with the political issues, and also absent at national executive meet in Bhopal. Leader of the Oppostion L K Advani was also present at the meeting.
They both discussed about the current political issues, and more importantly about the Nuclear Deal. Seems that the Government has been trying to get the NDA on its side before the crucial Parliamentary debate on nuclear deal that takes place on Nov 16. That would make the ‘sense of the House’ in favour of the deal. Singh conveyed good wishes for Deepavali to Vajpayee and also enquired about his health. Recently he was admitted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and underwent treatment for a week.
