A very sad news for all the Priyadarshan fans. Priyadarshan would be absent for the second time in a decade from the Bollywood Films, in 2008. Priyadarshan had a avery good year 2007, and had been one of the successful filmmakers, too.
2007 saw some of the best films of Priyadarshan. Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dhol, Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke, Malamaal Weekly, Garam Masala were all among the hit list. But it would be a great loss for all to miss his films in 2008. Back in the year 2002, Priyadarshan was absent, and since then for 5 years, he has been providing one-to-one hit movies.

- Hera Pheri in 2000.
- Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar in 2001.
- Hungama in 2003.
- Hulchul in 2004.
- Kyon Ki in 2005.
- Garam Masala in 2005.
- Malamaal Weekly in 2006.
- Chup Chup Ke in 2006.
- Bhagam Bhag in 2006.
- Dhol in 2007.
- Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007.
