Sameera is currently playing the heroine role in the film Varanam Ayiram pairing Surya which is directed by Goutham Menon. In his next directorial venture Sameera will romance Ajith. Sameera told that she has got a challenging role in Varanam Ayiram
and she was amazed that Surya loss and gain weight according to the situations of the film. Sameera recently plays the comical role in Race and which is dubbed in tamil as Panthayam!
