This news comes with a great shock. It has now been found that the actress Shriya, who was supposed to be acting in the lead with the Ultimate star, Ajith, for the next Raju Sundaram’s project, has now been dropped, from the film. In place of Shriya, now the Bolywood actress and the most talented one, Katrina Kaif would be playing the lead role in the movie. The producers and the directors have fixed Kats as the heroine, whith a whooping deal of Rs.1 crore.
Earlier it was Shriya who was the strong contendor for the film, but her item song performance in the Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan, made Ajith to drop Shriya from the project. But later the actress and Ajith had a talk, where Shriya made up her stand. Ajith was almost ready with Shriya, but Vadivelu’s comments upon the leading actresses made Ajith more angry and has confirmed Shriya out of the project.
Then later Ajith and the director had moved to Mumbai, at the sets of Pokkirri, where director Prabhu deva, is remaking the South Indian movie, with Salman Khan, in Hindi. Katrina was present at the sets to view her love’s shoot, was put into talks. Later with the recommendations made by Prabhu Deva through Salman Khan, Kats, accepted the offer, to be a part of the movie.
The introductry scenes would be shot in Hong Kong and later, the other parts would be shot in Ooty, next week.
