Earlier there were buzzes that the yesteryear “Murattukalai” movie will be remake by actor Vijay. The latest from Kollywood is that the movie is going to produced by Kalaingnar TV an official channel of Kollywood Industry. The movie “Murattu Kalai” of 1980’s is a mass entertainer which was produced by AVM now the new version will be produced by Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi’s grandson Gunanidhi. Likely Sundar.C will play the role of Super Star and the role of Jayashankar baddie will be performed by Suman. Actor Vivek will look after the comedy part of yesteryear Surlirajan. The movie has not yet fixed two heroines and the movie is directed by Selvabharathy.
Director turned actor Sundar. C was thrilled about this movie and this is his honor to d a movie like “Muratukkalai” and hope he would able to justice the role done by Super Star in the yesteryear. The movie “Murattu Kalai” will start rolling on floors from December and planning a release for April 14 2009.
