A film to be nominated at the Oscars is the biggest success for any director. Usually only English movies would be nominated for the Oscars and they do win. But now many film industries are in the race towards the Oscars. Being Indians its a matter of great happiness for all for our Indian Films at the Oscars.
There has been a lot of fuss about the race of Indian Movies at the Oscars. This year EKLAVYA made the first Indian Film Entry into the Oscars. The Producerss Ronnie Screwvala and Mira Nair have been in high intensive race for their entry into the Oscars. They are striving hard for the screenings of their movie The Namesake and are aggressively promoting the movie.
Now its looks that Tabu would be entering as a nominee for the best actor (female) for her acting in The Namesake. This movie has also done a good business in US. Now lets wait and watch who wins the race at the Oscars.
